Cedar Grove Presbyterian Mission Statement
The Cedar Grove Presbyterian Church is a congregation of persons who trust and obey Jesus Christ and are placed by God in a broken and fearful world to mend and strengthen.
As such we the members are blessed by God with the gift and challenge to carry His mission forward today. Therefore, we shall endeavor to reach out and touch by: Bearing witness to the gospel and by teaching that each one needs to win one.
By creating a climate of care and warmth within our congregation to nurture spirituality, growth, and well-being in our church members and families.
Working together for responsible and well-planned programs for persons of all ages and to utilize the abilities and resources of our members.
Maintain and use our church's facilities in a way that shows our regard for God's Kingdom, and to provide leadership development for all officers and organizations within our congregation.
To promote love and respect, understanding and unity among all congregation members in our respective communities. |
